Immerse yourself in Two intense days of nature photography in the Gran Paradiso National Park., surrounded by the evocative winter atmosphere of the Alps. We will explore some of the most suitable areas of the Park, moving through snow-capped Alpine valleys and visually stunning landscapes, in search of the animals that symbolize this extraordinary mountain ecosystem.
Winter is one of the most fascinating times for wildlife photography: snow enhances compositions, heightens contrasts, and makes wildlife movements more visible. We'll have the opportunity to observe and photograph ibex, alpine chamois, foxes, mountain hares, golden eagles and bearded vultures, working on both environmental images and closer portraits, depending on conditions and sightings.
During the field sessions you will be supported by a professional nature photographer, who will share technical tips and naturalistic knowledge to help you improve your light management on snow, the use of long focal lengths, composition, and the correct approach to alpine wildlife. Over the course of the two days, we will explore both basic and advanced shooting techniques, with a particular focus on creativity and understanding the environment.
At the end of the photographic sessions we will dedicate some time to analyzing the shots taken and to a post-production session, so as to optimize the files and understand how to best enhance the images obtained in the field.
The aim of the workshop is to provide not only beautiful photographs, but also concrete skills in biology, ethics and photographic technique, to experience nature photography with respect for nature and equipped with the right tools to face any future situation. Two intense and engaging days, designed to help you discover, or explore, a new dimension of wildlife photography in an Alpine environment.
