Immerse yourself in the magic of Green Season, when summer in the Southern Hemisphere transforms African landscapes into an explosion of lush green, creating unique and spectacular contrasts for photography.
We will take you to the heart of the famous Klaserie Game Reserve, located in the Greater Kruger National Park, where you will stay in an exclusive luxury lodge reserved entirely for the group. With only 5 chalets available, you can enjoy comfort and privacy without compromise.
The safari activities are designed to offer the highest quality: we will use 2 private jeeps, ensuring more space and freedom for every photographer, and you will be accompanied by 2 professional photographers together with certified local guides, ready to share their experience and knowledge of the area.
And it doesn't end there! On this tour we will have access to an exclusive underground photography hut, strategically positioned in front of a waterhole. From here you can take spectacular ground-level photos of the animals that come to drink, experiencing unique and unrepeatable moments.
Get ready for an extraordinary experience where every detail is designed to make this tour unforgettable.

Sharon Vanadia
The tour will begin on January 24th with the arrival at Hoedspruit airport, where tour leaders Michele Bavassano and Sharon Vanadia will welcome the group. With a private transfer we will reach our lodge in the Klaserie reserve. Upon our arrival, we will be welcomed with a full service that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two daily stops during the safaris: in the morning, for a coffee and biscuits in the savannah, and in the afternoon, for an aperitif at sunset.
Twelve photographic safaris are planned during the stay, two per day. The morning safaris will leave before dawn, around 5.15, returning around 9.00. The afternoon safaris will start around 16.00 and end after sunset, returning around 19.30. Each activity will be led by expert local guides, who will help us identify the animals present in the reserve.
Kruger National Park is a treasure trove of biodiversity, home to 147 species of mammals, including lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, wild dogs, zebras and many more. In addition, the park boasts over 500 species of birds, including the vibrant kingfishers and 15 different species of eagles, offering a unique experience for nature lovers and photographers.
Our lodge is located in the heart of the Klaserie reserve and is designed to offer maximum comfort in a super welcoming environment. Designed as a manor house, the lodge has five private chalets and a central structure on two floors, with a colonial-style dining room, bar, reading rooms and a fireplace for cooler evenings. The wooden veranda overlooks a waterhole, where you can watch the animals come to drink.
The property also offers a common area with a swimming pool and deck chairs, where you can relax between safaris. Every detail is taken care of to make you feel at home, in an exclusive environment and immersed in uncontaminated nature.
The lodge will be entirely reserved for our group, guaranteeing an exclusive atmosphere and dedicated attention from the staff to every detail. A refined cuisine, which enhances typical South African products, and moments of pure relaxation await us, for a trip that will perfectly balance adventure and rest.
The photographic activities focus on open jeep safaris, which provide a 360-degree view perfect for capturing every scene. The group will consist of a maximum of ten participants, spread across two private jeeps with five photographers per vehicle. Each jeep offers plenty of space for equipment and, for those who want even more freedom, it is possible to book a single room and reserve an entire row of seats.
In addition to the game drives, there is a special photo session in an underground hut located in front of a waterhole. This comfortable and spacious hut allows you to photograph the animals from a ground level perspective. There is no glass, which guarantees the highest quality of the images, and there are supports on which to rest the camera. We will spend an afternoon until sunset in the hut, waiting for the animals to come to drink, for a unique and immersive experience.
Tour leaders will work with local guides to optimize each sighting, positioning vehicles in the best way and making the most of lighting and timing, to ensure each participant has an unforgettable photographic experience.

Arrive at Johannesburg Intercontinental Airport and transfer to the domestic flight check-in area for the final flight to Hoedspruit.
Here you will find the two tour leaders Michele Bavassano and Sharon Vanadia waiting for you with a private transfer that will take you to the lodge where, after a quick lunch and settling into the rooms, we will immediately launch into our first safari.
We will return after sunset for a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
During these 6 complete days, the routine includes:
Wake up at 5:00 AM, with a coffee to prepare for the morning safari which will depart at 5:30 AM.
After a couple of hours, we will stop in the heart of the South African bush to enjoy a coffee, a hot chocolate and some biscuits, before setting off again and completing the safari.
At about 09:00 AM, we will return to the lodge for a few hours of relaxation, during which we will be able to photograph animals directly in the field, rest, recharge our devices and enjoy the sounds and colors of the savannah.
At 02:00 PM, there will be lunch, usually light so as not to weigh us down too much in view of the afternoon safari.
At 03.30 PM, we will leave for the afternoon safari, which will take us until sunset and beyond. We will travel the roads of the reserve in search of African animals until nightfall, stopping for an aperitif in the bush at the last light of the day.
We will continue with a short night safari on the way back to the lodge.
Upon arrival, we will be able to relax around the fire, under a starry sky, waiting for our group dinner.
NB: The itinerary includes a photo session from the hut, which will take place on one of the available afternoons in place of a safari. If you prefer not to participate in the photo session from the hut, you can continue the program with an alternative safari.
Wake up at 5:00 AM to prepare yourself with a coffee for the last morning safari.
These will be our last hours in the bush, searching for one last, special gift from African nature.
We will return at the usual time for a last shower in the savannah, then we will close our bags and leave for Hoedspruit airport with a private transfer.
