Photographic sessions take place during the most promising hours of the day, at sunrise and sunset, when alpine light becomes softer and wildlife activity increases. This workshop is centered on authentic wildlife photography, meaning we work in the open environment without hides or artificial setups. Animals are photographed in their natural habitat, as we carefully observe, interpret behavior and approach on foot with patience, respect and ethical awareness.
The approach is immersive but accessible. We walk at a comfortable pace through valleys and open alpine terrain, stopping frequently to scan for movement, read tracks in the snow and position ourselves strategically. The goal is not physical challenge, but learning how to find and photograph wildlife naturally, developing field awareness and real-world experience in a calm and structured way.
Each session combines practical shooting and real-time mentoring. Participants refine exposure management in snowy conditions, autofocus techniques for moving subjects, composition in open alpine landscapes and creative storytelling in wildlife imagery.
During the dedicated post-production session, a complete professional workflow is demonstrated, from file selection and noise reduction to contrast control, color refinement and optimized export for print and web, ensuring every participant gains confidence both in the field and in the digital refinement process.
The purpose of these activities is to deliver a truly field-based wildlife photography experience, rooted in ethics, observation and technique, while remaining balanced, structured and enjoyable for photographers of different fitness levels.
