A photographic tour of 5 days will take you to the most beautiful places savages and uncontaminated of the Slovakia, in search of thebrown bear, symbol of this fascinating land. The photo sessions will take place directly on the field, in a rustic style itinerant and in stakeout, without the use of the shed, to live an authentic experience in contact with wild nature.
Our trip will focus on the part Northern of Slovakia, one of the European areas with the highest population density brown bears, with approximately 1000 individuals in freedom. In addition to the brown bear, we will have the opportunity to meet other mammals places like the deer, The roe deer, the hare and, with any luck, the wolf. Our focus but it will be about the bear, the protagonist of this tour.
We will move on lands hills And mountainous, alternating hiking excursions and in machineThe photo sessions will be organized according to the weather conditions and animal behavior, to optimize our research and reach the best spots. We will always ensure compliance with the safety distances, protecting the well being of animals and ours. Wild nature must be respected and our actions will be coordinated to avoid any disturbance.

It will be a full immersion Of 5 days, taking advantage of all the sessions of sunrise And sunset available, the moments of increased activity of the bears.
At this time of year, the days are very long, with the first light of dawn arriving early in the morning. For this reason, the central moments of the day will be dedicated to the rest and monitoring surveys to evaluate animal behavior and improve our photographic strategy.
They will be alternated stalking sessions, with the use of camouflage cloths, to itinerant sessions both on foot and by car. We will adapt each outing based on the animals' activity and weather conditions, to make the most of the time available.
The excursions will take place in a landscape spring, with tall grass and land humid, especially in the early morning hours. It is highly recommended to wear waterproof boots to better deal with wet terrain. The temperatures typical of this spring period will vary between the 5 to 25 °C, with a fairly marked temperature range. For this reason, it will be necessary layered clothing to deal with temperature changes.

Simply follow the booking procedure by clicking on "Book Now". Once you have entered your personal data, you will only be asked to pay a deposit, not the full price. At the end of the operation the registration will be confirmed. You will then receive a confirmation email once the procedure is completed. The balance will then be requested according to the terms reported at the top of the page, usually 60 days before departure.
Lunches and dinners in Slovakia can be very cheap. A substantial meal rarely exceeds 20€, while eating more economically costs on average 10-15€. By leaving meals free, the group can decide where and when to eat, whether in a restaurant or elsewhere, the organization will always suggest the best solution for each meal.
For this event we recommend a reflex, mirrorless or bridge camera with a lens that reaches at least 400 mm. The tripod is not essential but could be useful in some situations.

We will follow easy paths through the vegetation, which could be wet especially in the early morning hours.
Layered clothing for temperatures ranging from 5C to 25C, boots (preferably waterproof), cape
for the rain/lie down on the ground.
Camouflage or ghillie nets will be required, if necessary contact the organization for more specific information.
By booking by paying the deposit to the organizers you accept the following clauses:
1. Since this is a pre-registration, the organizer will endeavor to promptly communicate any possible change in the price of the tour, characterized by cost fluctuations. An annual price fluctuation of around 5% is highly likely if booking is made more than one year in advance. in relation to potential changes in prices of ground services (for example changes influenced by fluctuating costs of electricity, fuel and more).
2. The price of the entire workshop will be paid via the payment methods offered by the organizer, such as bank transfer, PayPal, credit card or cash according to the procedures and deadlines established by the organizers, taking charge of the transaction costs.
3. In the event that the tour does not take place due to the organiser, the entire amount paid will be refunded.
4. In case of cancellation for personal reasons of any kind and in any case not dependent on the organizer, the deposit and any other registration fees will be retained as a reimbursement of expenses.
5. In case of cancellation for personal reasons within 60 days of departure, the entire balance of the tour will be required.
