The Tiger Expedition is a 7-day photography trip designed to give you the best wildlife viewing and photography opportunities in the Bengal tiger<\/strong> and the fauna of central India. You'll explore two of the most spectacular national parks in the subcontinent: Bandhavgarh<\/strong>, famous for its high density of tigers and its rocky landscapes, and Kanha<\/strong>, an expanse of forests, prairies and valleys that inspired the famous novel \u201cThe Jungle Book\u201d.<\/p>\n

The tour includes 12 safari<\/strong>, Two trips per day, conducted in open jeeps with a maximum of four photographers on board. The trained and passionate local guides will work with the professional photographer to optimally position the vehicle and interpret the animals' tracks, calls, and movements. During the safaris, you can photograph not only tigers, but also barasinghas, gaurs, langurs, leopards, sloth bears, and many species of tropical birds.<\/p>\n

You'll stay in two Indian-style lodges selected for their comfort, cleanliness, and strategic location. Rooms are available as double or single rooms, and the lodge kitchens can adapt meals to special dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan options.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the dry season, April is one of the best times of year for safaris in India: the more open vegetation and the concentration of animals at the waterholes greatly increase the chances of sightings.<\/p>\n
