FAQ

During our travels and photography tours in India, temperatures vary according to the region and the season:
- In the parks of Madhya Pradesh (tiger tour), between February and April, the climate is mild and dry, with temperatures between 15°C and 35°C, ideal for animal activity.
- In Ladakh, during the Snow Leopard expedition, between February and March, temperatures are very cold, ranging between -5°C and -20°C, but the snow-covered landscape and the charm of the Himalayan plateau repay every effort.
Each trip is planned at the most favorable times for sightings and photographic light.
To participate in a photography tour in India you need: Passport with residual validity of at least 6 months from the date of entry.
Electronic tourist visa (e-Visa), which must be requested online at least 4–5 days before departure (it is recommended to do so in advance).
A printed copy of your visa to carry with you.
We will provide you with assistance and practical information throughout the entire process.
Photographic expeditions in India require equipment suitable for both long stakeouts and dynamic shooting in jeeps or on mountain trails.
We recommend:
300mm to 600mm telephoto lens for tigers, snow leopards, and elusive wildlife
70–200mm zoom for dynamic environments and scenes
Bright wide angle for Himalayan landscapes or forests
SLR or mirrorless camera with good ISO performance
Monopod (on jeep safaris), or lightweight tripod for the mountains
Padded dust bags, filters, and extra batteries (they drain faster at high altitudes)
During the tours you are accompanied by nature guides and professional photographers who offer constant technical support.
Clothing depends a lot on the destination:
For Central Jungle (Tiger) Tours:
Lightweight, breathable clothing in neutral or camouflage colors
Hat, sunscreen, dust scarf
A light jacket for morning outings
Comfortable and durable trekking shoes
For the Snow Leopard (Himalaya) expedition:
Technical high-altitude clothing: thermal underwear, fleece, down jacket, winter trousers
Gloves, scarf, hat and waterproof mountain footwear
Sunglasses and high protection sunscreen
The weather can be challenging, but every precaution will allow you to make the most of your Indian photography adventure.
