Destination

Take part in an unforgettable photographic experience in the northern territories of Europe in search of the continent's most iconic large predators.

Traveling along the endless Finnish roads we will immerse ourselves in the evocative Finnish forests, until we reach our welcoming base camp.

Here, immersed in wild nature, we will find comfortable completely wooden structures, equipped with all comforts: electricity, running water, bedrooms, wi-fi connection and an expert chef who will prepare tasty meals for the whole group.

Here, on the edge of the territory of an important wolf pack, there are our photography huts, used by the BBC and National Geographic due to the incredible possibility of observing the European wolf, the European brown bear and the wolverine.

We will take advantage of the spectacular Nordic settings to closely observe and photograph wolves, bears, wolverines and, with a bit of luck, also other fascinating wild animals that populate these remote and uncontaminated lands.

Details of the tour

It will be a 5-day full immersion, taking advantage of every minute of light in the afternoon and sunset, then waiting for the first light of dawn.

We will bring with us food, water and a sleeping bag if you want to sleep in the few hours of night, the huts are equipped with small bathrooms and beds or mattresses to rest.

At this time of year the sun sets for only a few hours giving us the opportunity to continue photographing for a very long time thus optimizing photographic opportunities.

Every day it will be possible to rotate different locations to alternate different types of settings, including more open areas, forests or small lakes. In each location there are several huts where we will find those reserved exclusively for our group.

Our tour leader will guide you during every moment of this adventure, sharing all his knowledge both during shooting and post-production.

We will use exceptionally comfortable photography huts, designed to offer generous spaces to move around, comfortable chairs for photographing from different positions. After the photo sessions, we will return to base camp to rest, examine photos, rearrange equipment and enjoy delicious hot meals.

The huts are carefully designed to ensure maximum comfort during photographic sessions and optimize sighting opportunities. They use advanced strategies to eliminate odors, offer acoustic and visual insulation, and are equipped with slits for comfortable photography.

Thanks to the darkened upper windows, we will be able to observe without being seen from the outside, thus enjoying naturalistic spectacles just a few meters away as well as taking unforgettable photographs.

Each shed will have several stations, with chairs and accommodation pre-installed in a wooden shelf for inserting your camera head or for using a bean bag.

The base camp is immersed in a pristine forest, an oasis where we will actually spend the few hours between the morning return and the afternoon departure.

Here, we will stay in homestay-style structures, made of wood and equipped with bunk or single beds. Each unit has private bathrooms and a common area to hang out during the day if you don't want to rest.

You will also have the opportunity to freely explore the forest for a walk and perhaps spot some squirrels or birds, making your relaxing hours pleasant.

The tour leader will be available during this period to answer questions and curiosities, both regarding photography and the biological and ethological aspects of the species we will observe.
