In the heart of wild Kenya, between the plains of the Masai Mara and the spectacular views of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, one of the most exciting photographic experiences in Africa.
Our itinerary winds through two of the most iconic safari areas in Kenya. The Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for the Great Migration and the extraordinary sightings of felines such as lions, leopards and cheetahs, offers every day documentary-like scenes among herds of elephants and buffalo immersed in boundless landscapes.
To the south, at the foot of the Mount Kilimanjaro, theAmboseli National Park It offers a unique setting for photographing large herds of elephants with the highest mountain in Africa in the background. Here the light conditions, the open vegetation and the abundance of wildlife make it a favorite spot for wildlife photographers from all over the world.
Two different but complementary ecosystems for a 7 days Kenya photography safari designed for those who want to experience nature in an authentic way, away from the crowds and with the accompaniment of expert guides and professional photographers.
An exclusive journey among the great protagonists of the African savannah.
All overnight stays in double tents

This Photo safari in the heart of Kenya will take you between two of Africa's most iconic parks: the Masai Mara and Amboseli. In 8 days you will live an intense and perfectly calibrated experience for those who wish to capture the true soul of the African savannah.
Each day will be marked by sunrise and sunset safari on board vehicles optimized for photography, with Maximum 3-4 photographers per vehicle, to guarantee you space, comfort and freedom of movement at all times. You will be accompanied by expert local guides and a professional photographer, which will help you read light, anticipate animal behavior, and improve your images in the field.
After an initial overnight stay in Nairobi, we will reach an exclusive facility at the gates of the Masai Mara, a few minutes from the main observation points. For four days we will explore the reserve in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants and large herds of herbivores, immersed in breathtaking landscapes and far from the crowds.
After a final morning game drive, we will return to Nairobi for an overnight transit, before moving south towards theAmboseli National Park, where a completely different scenario awaits us: elephants in backlight, salt flats, solitary acacias and, in the background, the snow-capped peak of the Mount Kilimanjaro. Here too, strategically located lodge, exclusive game drives and total focus on photography.
A trip designed for those seeking authenticity, technique and deep connection with nature. An immersive itinerary that will give you iconic shots, perfect light and moments that will remain forever etched.
By traveling with Just Explorers, you will have access to an experience tailor-made for those who love nature photography.
The group will have a private vehicle for their exclusive use, to ensure maximum freedom of movement and time during each safari. All activities are designed to optimize light, shooting angles and wildlife behavior, thanks to the presence on board of a professional photographer expert in African wildlife.
Each outing will be accompanied by highly qualified local guides, with a deep knowledge of the territory and its dynamics. The planning of the days is flexible and centered on the needs of the group: we can stop for a long time on an interesting scene, follow predators in motion, or wait for the perfect light for the best shot.
An experience of quality, without compromise.
During our safari in Kenya we will stay in two simple but well-kept structures, chosen for their strategic position and the authentic atmosphere they offer.
In the Maasai Mara we will be hosted in a comfortable tented camp, surrounded by vegetation and located a short distance from the main photographic spots of the reserve. The tents are spacious, with a comfortable bed, private bathroom and a veranda where you can relax after the safaris. The camp offers everything you need to live the experience in full contact with nature, without giving up a minimum of comfort and tranquility.
To Amboseli, the lodge that will welcome us is a solid and well-managed structure, with masonry rooms furnished in local style. The rooms are simple but welcoming, with private bathroom, double or twin bed, and common areas where you can meet at the end of the day. The view of Kilimanjaro, if the weather permits, is an added value that makes the atmosphere of the park even more special.
In both structures we can enjoy simple but refined dishes, with local and international cuisine. The staff is kind and helpful, and the general organization is designed to allow us to focus on the experience, photography and nature, without distractions.
With Just Explorers you will be able to count on a small group, professional accompaniment and all the necessary assistance before, during and after the trip.
