Destination

You will find yourself in the beautiful Spanish lands, in the northernmost slopes of the Sierra Morena and the Sierra de Andujar Natural Park. These places host one of the highest densities of Iberian lynx in the Iberian Peninsula.

This magnificent feline is one of the most threatened in the world, but thanks to joint efforts to preserve its habitat and manage the population of wild rabbits (which represent 90% of its diet), the Iberian lynx is returning to populate these territories. Until a few decades ago, there were only 94 surviving individuals, but today, thanks to conservation actions, the population already exceeds 1000 lynxes.

Join us on this unique journey into the heart of the wilderness, where you will have the opportunity to capture the grace and beauty of these magnificent creatures with your camera. Prepare to take unforgettable photos, immerse yourself in a conservation success story, and experience a unique thrill as you witness the rebirth of an endangered species.

Discover with your own eyes the magic of the Iberian Lynx as you explore the reclaimed habitats and experience the incredible survival story of this fascinating feline.

Join us on this amazing photography adventure and help us preserve and protect this natural treasure for future generations.

Details of the tour

They will be six magical days, dedicated to the exploration of these lands. Our mission will be to spot one of the most elusive and threatened cats in the world, with total respect for the nature that surrounds us. Thanks to the exclusive access to photography hides, we will be able to observe and immortalise this incredible feline without disturbing its habits, with a perfect shooting point.

Each hide overlooks a pool of water, where the Lynx and many other species go to quench their thirst during the scorching summer days. We may be lucky enough to witness the tender parental care of the Lynx, who guides her cubs right in front of our eyes, creating moments of great emotion.

But the Lynx will not be the only protagonist of this extraordinary adventure. We will have the opportunity to admire a variety of avifauna species, such as the green woodpecker, the great spotted woodpecker, the red-legged partridge, the pheasant, the little owl and several species of tit, the long-tailed tit, the wild dove, the hoopoe and many still others. And let's not forget the small mammals that populate these lands, such as the wild rabbit.

Eight photographic activities that will take place inside our exclusive hides, specially designed and built to meet the needs of every nature photographer. Every detail has been carefully taken care of to ensure perfect scenery, natural settings and impeccable light.

Thanks to the 4 mm thick anti-reflective glass (one millimeter less than common solutions), you will be able to observe the animals from sometimes negligible distances, maintaining perfect reproduction of details and colors, without the animals perceiving your presence.

Each hut can have a capacity of 2/8 seats, allowing us to divide the group and occupy the preferred locations. The daily planning will be made according to your preferences, ensuring that each participant has the opportunity to make the most of the huts.

The objective of this tour is to live a unique experience, in perfect harmony with nature and without disturbing the delicate balance of the animals and the surrounding environment in the slightest. The Iberian lynx will be the fulcrum of this extraordinary adventure, a fascinating species for its history and the ecology that surrounds it.

We will stay in a hotel with a favorable position in relation to the huts, while for the main meals (lunch and dinner) we will move a few steps from our hotel to a typical restaurant. The area is far from tourist activities and the small town is very quiet and peaceful. Inside the hotel we will have all the necessary services such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hair dryer and bar service. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. A perfect place to balance rest and adventure.

On this tour, all photography activities will take place inside our huts, giving you the opportunity to observe animals from extremely close distances, sometimes as close as 4 to 5 metres.
