Destination

Discover the Untamed Beauty of Central Italy: Wildlife Photography Tour

This exclusive tour is designed to explore the wildest areas of central Italy, including national parks and dense wildlife habitats. Over the past decade, our two professional photographers have meticulously tracked the movements of the local fauna in these regions. During this period, the Apennine chamois is in the midst of its breeding season, offering a unique opportunity to witness and capture these majestic animals in their natural environment. The magical landscapes and forests of the Apennines are accessible only in these wild and unspoiled areas.

Our journey isn't limited to chamois. In these different locations, we'll also seek out deer, mouflons, and other mammals such as roe deer, wild boar, and the elusive wolf. Each location we visit will provide unique and special atmospheres for our photography, showcasing the varied settings of the central Italian Apennines.

Details of the tour

These days promise to be very intense, keeping us engaged in the field from dawn until sunset. We will form a small group of photographers to minimize disturbance and maximize photographic opportunities. In the field, we'll discuss both basic and advanced shooting techniques to help you capture creative and special images.

After sunset and during the central hours of the day, we'll review your shots and delve into post-production techniques, enhancing your skills with the latest software to optimize your images. Our goal is to impart both biological and photographic knowledge, enabling you to pursue this fantastic passion with the utmost respect for nature and the skills necessary to create perfect shots in any situation.

Join us for an intense and engaging experience that will redefine your wildlife photography. Rediscover the joy and thrill of capturing wildlife in a completely new way!

The photography sessions will take place in the morning and at sunset, mainly with traveling photography activities. We will explore the most iconic places of the Parks, immersing ourselves in an experience in harmony with nature. The intense days will keep us in the field from dawn to dusk, with practical sessions on basic and advanced shooting techniques to obtain creative and unique images. Obviously, as in every workshop, we will dedicate a part of the workshop to carry out a complete post-production lesson, to optimize each shot from noise reduction, contrast management, colors and export for print and the web.

In addition to capturing beautiful photographs and having an unforgettable experience, the focus of this workshop is to showcase the field approach of experienced professional photographers, revealing the secrets of stalking and wildlife photography.

All photographic activities will be alongside a professional photographer.

No photo session will take place from a hide, everything will be done freely on the territory of the park with stalking and moving to the best areas for sighting animals.

For this, a good physical shape will be required that allows each participant to carry out hike of maximum 10km or 200/400 meters of elevation without problems (A fast walk will not be required, the excursions will take place with a very slow walk)

All camouflage material, such as net or other will be provided by the organizers. You will only need your photographic equipment.
