Four days immersed in the wild nature of Slovenia, among quiet villages, endless forests, and atmospheres that seem suspended in time.
In this still untouched corner of Europe, lies the ideal habitat for some of the continent's most fascinating mammals: wolves, lynxes, foxes, wild cats and, above all, the brown bear, the true protagonist of these lands.
With one of the highest densities of brown bears in Europe, Slovenia represents one of the best destinations to observe and photograph this species in its natural environment.
In the heart of the forests are found small huts camouflaged in the greenery, designed to offer an authentic and wildlife-friendly experience.
Join us to explore these extraordinary places, experience intense moments in close contact with nature and bring home images full of emotion.

It will be an experience of four days of nature photography with a professional photographer by your side. Six photo sessions from a hide, dedicated to observing bears and birds.
During these four days, we will explore different locations for sighting the European brown bear, in the ideal period when they are most active and when it is easier to spot the cubs. The bear's activity is mainly in the afternoon and for this reason we will use the mornings to photograph other interesting subjects, where we will have at our disposal huts with watering places dedicated to birds and small mammals.
The cabins, located in the heart of the forests but easily accessible on foot, make this route accessible to everyone. Slovenian forests are home to a wide variety of European mammals and birds. With a bit of luck, in addition to bears, for which the probability of sighting is almost 100%, we will be able to see and photograph dozens of species of birds and maybe other mammals.
Join us for this unforgettable photographic adventure.
We plan 6 photo sessions: 3 at dawn and 3 at dusk.
The sunset sessions will be dedicated to the brown bear, while the dawn sessions will be dedicated to the avifauna.
Plus, you'll have free access to a night shed illuminated to photograph small nocturnal mammals such as badgers, hedgehogs, martens and perhaps with a bit of luck, nocturnal birds of prey.
Why will we use sheds? Shed photography is the ideal method for capturing close-up images of wildlife without disturbing their natural routine.
The hides we will use have been specially designed to provide comfort during photography sessions and maximize spotting opportunities. We have adopted strategies to eliminate odors, acoustically isolate the environment and use special glass that also ensures visual insulation.
Inside the hides, we will be able to use photographic heads placed in pre-built housing.
The large side windows will allow us to observe the outside world without being seen from the outside. This means that in addition to taking photographs, we will be able to enjoy the natural spectacle just a few meters away.
During the workshop we will be staying in comfortable facilities immersed in the green valleys of Slovenia, selected to offer tranquility, comfort and a strategic position with respect to the observation points.
The hotel has large rooms with private bathroom, separate beds, free Wi-Fi and a service of full boardwhich includes breakfast, lunch and dinner with typical local dishes.
For those who wish, it is possible request a single room with a supplement, while stocks last.
The structure is easily accessible by car and is located approximately an hour away from Trieste, making it accessible also for those arriving from Italy.
Alternatively, you can request a private transfer from Trieste, to be agreed with the organization at the time of booking.
