Destination

Three days in the Stelvio National Park await you for a unique experience to discover the local fauna, we will dedicate our outings to the search for the ibex, the bearded vulture, the marmot and with a bit of luck we could also meet the partridge and the stoat.

The Stelvio National Park, Established in 1935, it is one of the oldest national parks in Europe, created to protect and preserve the extraordinary biodiversity of the Central Alps. Its foundation testifies to the commitment to nature conservation and the protection of Alpine habitats.

The animal population in the park is varied and numerous: it is estimated that there are over 40 species of mammals, including around 2,000 ibex, and many birds of prey, including 26 pairs of golden eagles. undisputed symbol of the Park and 15 pairs of bearded vultures. Marmots, with a population of several thousand individuals, are commonly encountered along hiking trails, while the bearded vulture, after being successfully reintroduced, has found one of its main habitats in the Park.

Partridges, inhabitants of the alpine meadows, are also well represented, while the stoat, despite its shy nature, is widespread in the rocky areas and forests of the Park. This rich variety makes Stelvio a unique place, where wildlife is the protagonist of a precious ecosystem to be preserved for future generations

Details of the tour

It will be three unforgettable days spent with the professional photographer and a fantastic group of people passionate about photography and nature. The teacher will follow you step by step throughout the workshop and will make his wealth of experience available to reveal the best secrets of photography both from the technical than practical! They will do their best to make this the best event you have ever attended!

In the field we will talk about basic and advanced shooting techniques to obtain creative and unique images. After sunset, we will have the opportunity to discuss the shots taken during the day and carry out some photo sessions. post-production aimed at optimizing files.

Nature photography is a very delicate photographic genre. We find ourselves immersed in natural environments in close contact with nature and animals. It is essential to have great respect for nature and to know how to behave appropriately knowing what you are photographing.

By participating in a nature photography workshop, you will discover, together with professional photographers, how to behave in the field to obtain impactful and natural photographs.

Through the experience, studies and knowledge of the photographers' territory, the various photographic sessions will be carried out in locations chosen to have the maximum probability of sighting and with a careful study of the light and environments to be able to obtain the maximum from a photographic point of view.

During the workshop, the basics of nature photography will be covered, as well as photographic ethics and animal biology.

You will be followed from the settings in the camera to the shooting phase. We will then have the opportunity to compare our shots and talk about post-production where we will reveal some secrets to optimize your photographs with particular attention to noise reduction, detail optimization, light and contrast management and color corrections.

The purpose of these events is to train you through our experience, leaving a wealth of knowledge sufficient to cultivate this passion anywhere, with excellent photographic results and in full respect of nature.

In fact, the basis of each itinerary is the protection of nature. Each outing will take place in harmony with nature, with wild animals free in their habitat. Our activities will not affect their habits in any way, allowing us to take natural photographs and in balance with nature.
