Just Explorers is a company specializing in photography adventures and nature tours around the world. Founded by Michele Bavassano, a team of passionate explorers and professional photographers, our mission is to bring travelers to discover uncontaminated places, encouraging sustainable and environmentally friendly activities. We offer unique experiences, led by local experts, to capture the beauty of nature and the magic of wildlife encounters. The team

The Just Explorers team is made up of a group of experienced travellers, professional photographers and nature guides, all united by a passion for nature and adventure. Each member of our team brings with them extensive experience in the field and a deep understanding of the experiences we offer. With skills ranging from landscape photography to wildlife conservation, we are dedicated to offering authentic and unforgettable experiences. Our priority is to operate responsibly, providing our customers with the best opportunities to explore, photograph and appreciate the world's natural wonders. Michele Bavassano

Founder

Passionate about nature, he travels in search of the perfect shot, exploring pristine areas around the world. Through his camera he tries to share moments and emotions. Michele defines his photography as “A search for art in nature”. He works as a professional photographer and proposes events in the most interesting and important destinations in Italy and abroad through his company "Just Explorers". His images have been used by Discovery, BBC, ENEL and have been published in numerous magazines around the world. He is also the author of a book “Wild Beauty” published by Mondadori.

Sharon Vanadia

Born in Rome in 1994, she showed a strong sensitivity towards nature from a young age. Graduated in Biological Sciences and specialized in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management, she became a professional photographer. He leads nature workshops and tours around the world, combining his passion for biology with nature photography. With years of experience in the field, she is followed internationally for her work and dedication to nature conservation.

Jonathan Giovannini

Graduated in computer engineering but his true passion has always been the mountains and photography. Over the years, his interest in exploring nature and capturing its beauty has transformed into a necessity. Always searching for the perfect moment, he strives to capture the magic of sunsets, wildlife encounters and the essence of the natural environment. He works as a professional photographer specializing in landscape and nature photography.

Andrea Benvenuti

Nature photographer from Rome, he has cultivated a passion for photography since the age of 18, fascinated by the animal world since he was a child. Having graduated in Environmental Sciences with a thesis on the man-wolf conflict, he then obtained a master's degree in Ecobiology. Develop global photography projects integrated with bird and mammal conservation initiatives. He has won national and international competitions and published in magazines such as National Geographic.

Maurizio Ferrari

Born in Rome, he dedicated his life to travel. A great lover of Africa, he has spent years exploring Africa's national parks and other destinations around the world. Now he dedicates himself to planning experiences to share his knowledge with nature lovers. With his stories and photographs, he allows others to experience the magic of the wild. Its mission is to inspire people to explore and respect our planet by providing unforgettable adventures.

Silvia Bavassano

Born in Orvieto, she began her journey in Just Explorers right from the beginning. Tireless guardian of the technical side and customer support, he constantly strives to provide each customer with clear information and a prompt and professional service. Collaborating with his brother Michele, he manages the company with dedication and commitment to the fundamental principles. Its mission is to ensure perfect experiences, working tirelessly to meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

Flavia Pietroni

Born and raised in Rome, she has always had a deep passion for travel and wild nature. Observing free animals in their natural habitat is a source of wonder and inspiration for her. After graduating in biology, he obtained a safari guide certification to combine his passions with work. Today he leads adventurous and immersive tours, sharing the beauty of natural ecosystems with travelers from around the world.

Marta Ruggeri

Raised in the mountains of the Marche Apennines, she has nurtured a deep passion for exploring wild nature since childhood. An unshakable lover of trekking, he does not stop in front of any weather condition in order to follow new paths and discover uncontaminated corners. His dedication to the mountains is also reflected in his photography, where each shot represents a moment to hone his skills and capture the beauty of the peaks he loves to explore.

Jacopo Ursitti

Jacopo Ursitti is a nature photographer and biologist who grew up in the Abruzzo National Park, where he immediately developed a deep connection with nature. He studied and graduated in Biology in Rome, actively working in the park to safeguard the local fauna and flora. Jacopo has cultivated a passion for nature photography, documenting the beauty and biodiversity of the area. His projects focus on environmental conservation and awareness, with the aim of protecting ecosystems and inspiring respect for nature.

Filippo Pelatelli

Born in 1997, he lives in Staffolo, a small town in the Marche hinterland. In 2021 he graduated in three-year Electronic Engineering and is currently a student of the naval specialist. His passion for photography was born in 2017, initially oriented towards landscapes. In 2020, seeking more exciting experiences, he dedicates himself to nature photography, capturing wonderful creatures in their habitat at the perfect moment. At the same time, he works as a Judo teacher, a discipline he practices with dedication.

Slovakian photographer, he stands out for his mastery in naturalistic photography of bears on the stand. Through his lens, he captures the power and grace of these magnificent creatures in their native habitat. Lorenzo Manzi

A photographer who grew up in northern Lazio, he brings with him the heart of nature in his images. Growing up among the woods and hills of his land, he has cultivated a deep connection with his surroundings since his youth. His passion for photography was born from a love for landscapes and spontaneous encounters with wild life. Each shot by Lorenzo tells a story of intimacy with nature, capturing moments of beauty and serenity that inspire and enchant those who observe.

Guido Alari

Expert ecobiologist and zoologist specialized in the study of mammals and birds of prey. He has dedicated his career to the research and conservation of Italian wildlife, conducting numerous projects in Italian parks and reserves. His passion for nature led him to explore remote and wild habitats, documenting Italian biodiversity and raising public awareness of the importance of conservation. With a scientific and passionate approach, Guido continues to contribute significantly to the protection of wildlife and inspires future generations of biologists and conservationists.
